On Friday, May 29, there were plenty of dark clouds in the sky, but that didn’t stop our team from hitting the golf course for charity! Atlas Manufacturing participated in the annual CCEDC Chippewa Charity Classic 2015 Golf Outing at Whispering Pines Golf Course. All proceeds from the event went to the Community Foundation of Chippewa County G. McDowell Economic Development Seedling Fund. It was a pleasure to participate!

Atlas Manufacturing is committed to our customers, and we’re also invested in our community. We recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the annual ‘Stroll in the Park’ for Epilepsy, a 1.5 mile walk though Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, Wisc.

Epilepsy is the 4th most common neurological problem, and it affects around three million people in the US. On the morning of the event, hundreds of people turned out to walk and support local families who are impacted every day by the disease. Afterwards, a picnic and entertainment gave families and supporters time to connect and enjoy themselves.

Proceeds from the walk benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin. For more information, check out WEAU’s news coverage of the event.
