When it comes to welded metal assemblies, Atlas knows that fabricating components is the first step of any project. Those fabricated components are most often welded, fastened, and assembled in unique ways.

We adapt our workspace to meet customer demands. An example of this is our dedicated welded assembly manufacturing cells. Once the components have been welded, these weldments are often powder coated and then assembled to a high level. We leverage a variety of lean manufacturing techniques such as bin fill, on-site vendor managed inventory (VMI), and packaged Kanban containers. Our cross trained staff combined with work cells create a flexible welding assembly environment that can support a variety of fulfillment options. Our weldment capabilities include mechanical assembly and integration.

Whether the application calls for ESD grounding, foam insulation, weldment leak verification, or consigned customer components that get built into the welded assemblies, we flex to meet our customer’s needs. At Atlas, we are an extension of the OEM production. Our customers that require insulated stainless steel, cold side welded assemblies or weldments used in the branded restaurant sector benefit from our capability to produce #4 finish stainless weldments and assemblies that we insulate with Dow Chemical Delta-Therm two part expanding foam. Our stainless steel hot side manufacturing capabilities include insulating weldments and welded assemblies with rigid rock wool insulation.

One of our customers designs and markets adjustable height shampoo bowl systems used in assisted living and nursing home facilities. The assembly cell for this product produces and packages the complete product shipping directly to the end location for installation.

We want to make your supply chain experience as efficient as possible. Producing the largest shippable compilation of components to our OEM ensures that quality is built in, lowers inventory transactions and carrying costs, and reduces the overall cost of the transaction. When working with our non-profit and for profit partners in assembly and logistics, we provide unparalleled service for kitting, packaging, labeling products, and more.

Atlas is an industry leader in welded assemblies for custom products and your one-stop-shop for shaping the metal behind your brand.
